The Valby GR50HD is suitable for use on smaller truck loaders. We recommend the
R45 rotator with this grapple. The jaws are made out of Hardox, a prime steel for
grapples. The jaws are almost 5/8" thick. The grease fittings are protected in exposed
areas. The jaws open up to 50 3/4". The area inside the jaws when closed to where they
meet is: 2.37 sq. ft.
Modern bypass grapple design.
All Valby grapples have a bronze bushing at every joint, and
every joint has a grease fitting.
Large, powerful cylinder.
Double connection rods provide good balance and less stress.
A belly plate protects the cylinder from underneath.
The Valby bypass grapples have excellent geometry. The form
of the claws enables a smooth roll in of the stems. The grapples
also close to a tight minimum opening.
